CARL BECHSTEIN FOUNDATION

Early 2022 Edwin Beunk and the Carl Bechstein Foundation agreed on a partnership with regard to their respective collections.
Gradually, over a period of the next 8-10 years the instruments in the Edwin Beunk Collection will become an integrated part of the Carl Bechstein Foundation collection of historical keyboard instruments. (Read more about this project here). Rather than just another music instrument museum, the Bechstein Foundation aims at an active collection, with pianos of the famous builders being played.

Edwin Beunk and Johan Wennink are currently restoring important early pianos for the Foundation.
